my sister's name is sarah but it would be mean to say it's about her. had a music man amp that made that weird vibrato. don't have it anymore. popular request at shows. always wanted to hear a cool echo-y dub mix of this song.
Personal Thoughts:
Yeah, the dubby feel of this track is very hypnotizing, indeed. Combine this era's guitar tone with with that weird LFO thing on the volume and it makes for a really dark psychedelic sound. The lyrics are simple, but in my opinion you really don't need much to make this kind of song a classic.
Live:
One of the few 'Hope' tracks to carry on past the 90s, this saw occasional appearances on setlists over the years, before becoming a regular part of setlists in the tour for Double Negative.
